From November 30 to December 10, 2020, in the sports hall of the NUST MISIS Branch in the city of Almalyk, a volleyball tournament was held among student teams for the NUST MISIS AF Cup, timed to coincide with the Constitution Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan. 19 teams took part in the competition!
Competitions were organized by teachers of "Physical culture", department
"Social and humanitarian disciplines".
Volleyball is one of the most exciting and spectacular sports. A distinctive feature of volleyball is the complexity and speed of solving motor problems in game situations.
But do not forget that this type of physical activity can not only provide an opportunity to spend time interestingly, but also strengthen health, both physical and psychological.
This tournament is part of the NUST MISIS Spartakiad cycle in various sports. The competition makes it possible to identify gifted students for the formation of the branch volleyball team.
The tournament was held according to the Olympic system. The team had no room for error. One defeat and the team is eliminated from the tournament.
The final games were the brightest and most spectacular! The athletes were as focused as possible on the game. We saw a real fight. A beautiful fight.
The participants distributed the prizes as follows: the third place was taken by the GD 2-20 team, having won both games against the second-year team Metallurgy 4-19. The game for the first place was much more difficult. Both teams played quite seriously, trying not to let go of the advantage for a second. And yet the team of the GD 2-19 group managed to put the squeeze on the enemy and showed who was worthy of the title of champion! With a score of 2: 0, the GD 2-19 team becomes the winner of our tournament, and we congratulate the GD 1-19 team on the honorable second place!
In general, it turned out to be an excellent competition, which helped the students to unite into teams, get closer to students of different courses, as well as make new acquaintances, and also improve their health!
